AMicro President Jiang Xinqiao was recognized as an individual with outstanding contributions to Greater Bay Area development in Guangdong’s recently announced commendations. The honor acknowledges leadership in aligning AMicro with national strategies and advancing Guangdong–Macao cooperation.
Recognizing contributions to Greater Bay Area development
According to the notice issued by the General Offices of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and the Guangdong Provincial Government, the recognition encourages participation in Greater Bay Area development. Jiang Xinqiao has delivered results in technology collaboration and major platform development.
The recognition honors individual contributions and encourages enterprises to support national strategies through practical action. This example is expected to inspire further contributions to high-quality development in the Greater Bay Area.
AM970: high-performance AI solutions for robotics across scenarios
At the 30th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF), held from October 22 to 25 at the Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo, AMicro appeared as a key Hengqin Cooperation Zone enterprise in the Hengqin Pavilion’s technology R&D and advanced manufacturing area.
AMicro showcased AM970, its industry-first all-scenario intelligent robotics technology platform. Designed for robots, it combines a high-performance vision engine with general-purpose computing. Its high performance and low power consumption support humanoids, industrial vision, drones and cleaning robots.
Supporting national strategies and Macao’s economic diversification
MIF was another milestone in AMicro’s Macao–Hengqin collaboration. At its August 2025 brand renewal and product launch in Hengqin, the company announced its Chinese name change from AMicro Semiconductor to AMicro Technology and its transition from a core robotics technology provider to an intelligent mobile robotics platform company. It also established a joint intelligent robotics and low-altitude economy laboratory with Macao Gaole Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., supporting integration between robotics and the low-altitude economy in the Greater Bay Area.
With robotics and AI as its core direction, AMicro supports Macao’s economic diversification through sustained innovation and ecosystem partnerships, contributing to Macao–Hengqin collaboration and Macao’s technology ecosystem.
AMicro will continue its robotics and AI strategy, building end-to-end capabilities from algorithms to hardware as an intelligent mobile robotics technology platform and supporting partners across the industry chain.
