The sixth BEYOND International Technology Innovation Expo took place in Macao from May 27 to 30. As an international platform for technology, industrial upgrading and economic diversification, it brought together more than 1,200 technology companies and over 30,000 industry visitors. With a long-term presence in Hengqin and Macao, AMicro appeared for the third consecutive year, supporting high-quality industrial development through its technology. Its all-scenario robotics portfolio demonstrated an independently developed perception–decision–control chain, from core chips and algorithms to complete system integration.
0 1 In-house robotics SoCs enable commercialization at scale
Dedicated robotics chips are a strategic foundation of the robotics industry.
AMicro presented three in-house robotics chips: AM970, AM891 and AM3103. The newly launched AM970 all-scenario intelligent robotics control SoC attracted particular attention. Equipped with a 5 TOPS NPU and dedicated SLAM IP, it supports parallel processing of six HD video streams. A single chip meets perception, decision-making and control needs from consumer to industrial robots, providing cost-effective, high-performance computing for embodied intelligence devices, service robots, drones, humanoids and industrial inspection equipment. AMicro’s chip solutions have been deployed in more than ten million commercial robots and systems worldwide, supporting leading brands in China and overseas. These deployments demonstrate the maturity, stability and competitiveness of its chips and the large-scale commercial delivery capabilities of China’s independently developed robotics chips.

For home applications, AMicro introduced two AI robotics solutions focused on companionship and safety, bringing advanced AI into everyday life.
CUBIE Desktop Companion Robot
Powered by in-house chips and leading large language models, CUBIE supports natural-language interaction, personalized characters and hardware expansion for home entertainment, early education and elderly companionship. Combining cloud AI with device hardware, it demonstrates practical AI applications on desktop devices.
Mobile Home Monitoring Robot
Designed for home safety, this robot provides automatic low-battery docking, AI recognition of people and pets, real-time unusual-sound monitoring and two-way voice calls. It can distinguish people from pets and immediately send video to a user’s phone when it detects events such as breaking objects or calls for help, providing proactive, round-the-clock protection.
Together, these companionship and safety products demonstrate AMicro’s ability to turn technology into practical smart-home products.
0 3 Bio-inspired robots: from proof of concept to application
AMicro demonstrated two interactive bio-inspired and legged robots, attracting considerable visitor interest.
Humanoid Robot
Using an in-house fine-tuned large language model, the humanoid supports natural voice conversations, autonomous navigation and reception duties. Live demonstrations showed smooth walking and human–robot interaction. Its chips and algorithms are independently developed by AMicro, demonstrating integrated control of highly complex robotics systems.
Quadruped Robot Dog
The industrial quadruped demonstrated adaptability to complex terrain, autonomous navigation and load-bearing tasks. Visitors from industrial inspection and specialized operations discussed potential applications in detail.
These products show that AMicro’s full-stack legged-robot technology in motion control, perception and AI decision-making has entered application validation, with uses ranging from commercial reception to industrial inspection.
0 4 Connecting with the Greater Bay Area and the world
BEYOND Expo was both a technology showcase and an example of AMicro’s participation in Macao–Hengqin collaboration and Greater Bay Area development. In 2022, the company established a wholly owned subsidiary in Macao and received recognition as a Potential Technology Enterprise. Drawing on Macao’s international platform and policy advantages, AMicro is accelerating its global expansion. It will continue to focus on robotics and AI, using in-house chips and algorithms and working with global ecosystem partners to scale robotics applications across industries.
From a single chip to an all-scenario robotics portfolio, and from consumer to industrial applications, AMicro presented a complete, independently controlled technology chain. Under the theme “AI: Digital to Physical,” it is bringing AI from the digital world into physical applications through its own technology.
